about
from 1992, i think this is the first multitrack recording i ever made. had been listening to steve hackett's (genesis guitarist) solo album "voyage of the acolyte" and thought i'd try to rip off the vibe. just started messing around on guitar, as you can tell. for some reason the song reminded me of the board game candyland.

used roommate's tascam porta02 4-track cassette recorder and acoustic guitar. bass. casio sk-1 keyboard (flute patch). i put a small cheap plastic microphone down inside the hole of the acoustic guitar to record it. for the distorted parts i ran the mic through my roommate's fuzz fx pedal.
